YES!! whew! to make a long story short kansas wins in overtime by seven points 68-75 in overtime! to make it longer...it was awesome! i still can't believe it, KANSAS JAYHAWKS WIN THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP!! it was good i hope all you loyal fan's had a good evening!

hey everyone! i have a news flash for ya...Ted Dekker, has finally done it! if you are a dekker fan you will need to know this. his new books, Chaos, Infidel, Renegade, and Adam sum everything up! you have to read them! it connects all his books that you can't figure out, like the trilogy, and Saint, Skin, Showdown...and his newest release, Sinner. i hope he doesn't stop but he's summed it up in his newest four, the Books of History series. just thought i'd let you all know. peace and chocolate!

hello all my peeps! how's life treating ya? i guess that it's about time to post some pictures again and say a little bit more of the nothing that is going on in my life. first off i need to tell you that without the help of the new Canon Powershot S5IS at our house you wouldn't have a picture post. yes, i LOVE that camera...but lately i've been having to not use the flash for the sake of not annoying certain members of my family. but just think about it, a digital camera is for taking pictures, right? if you bought a 1 GB memory card you are thinking about the possibility of having hundreds of pictures taken, right? yeah, that's what i think to, but unfortunately i'm not the majority. so, here are a few pictures that i took with my new friend. notice that i said that I took them??

well i only have a minute to tell ya'll something. we...are...going...on....a...ROADTRIP!!!! yep, we leave after church on sunday and we should be arriving in kansas monday eve sometime. then on wednesday we head out to arkansas for bored meetings. after all that we get to go to indiana and pick up the littler of my big guys and...yes!! we're off to pa. we're just gonna chill at my grandpa's guest house and on thursday my other big guy get's off work and is gonna come and join us!! yep, it's gonna be the bomb! we don't have anything planned except for friday night so there will be some serious relaxing going on! i can't wait! and another thing that is just awesome is that one of my very bestest friends is going along! even if she is a dog.

but i better get going now, maybe i'll post pictures after i come home.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

yes yes it is that time of year again. turkey and mashed potatoes and stuffing and pie and turkey and no school and pie and turkey and did i mention turkey? but, at any case today is a day of party and fun. We intend at this point to each pick one game and do tournaments (and i intend to come in first on at least one of them, maybe, hopefully). i'll post some pics later in the month when i get them from people. so i guess that's it, Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy your turkey!! oh, and recently i've been on a ted dekker rampage. so far this month i've read Obsessed, House, Thunder of Heaven, and The Martyrs song. yep, they're that good, read one if you can! ok since it's been a while since i updated and there is really no news thats new to me, i'll share some stories of some of the stuff that's happened this summer.VBS was awesome! i think that i can say for every one that we had a awesome week! the teachers were so cool with the way that they handled the kids. but one thing for sure was that it wasn't us!! we had the week absolutely bathed in prayer. there were some ladies from kenora who prayed constantly during the time we were on the reserve. it was so nice to know that there was someone who was praying during classes. and i'm telling you, we needed help that no one on earth could give!!

i guess what would've happened before that even would have been my sweet "little sisters" adoption. It was good to see her go to a family that would be her own. even though we're all going to miss her, we can thank the lord that she's with a christian family that will love and take care of her. it was so good to see her belong to someone now after four years of kindof "bouncing" around.

last week was family camp. we had so much fun! we camped with mike and gina and three of there children over the whole weekend. it was great being able to camp with there family over that time. then on sunday evening darren and mike sang some songs. it was so cool to see them up there. mike gave a really awesome testimony and sang a song that he wrote himself. it was neat to see him do that and stuff in front of a bunch of people. it was really awesome!

another sibling is on the move. yes, darren is going to college the end of this month. it's so sad to see him go. i'm gonna miss him like crazy!! it's gonna be the third one gone in five months time! i don't know when i'll be able to see vince or katrina yet but i'm saving money to go see katrina, and if we take a vacation in the PA area then i'll be able to see him to.

well i guess that's all you can squeeze out of me for right now. peace and chocolate to each and every one!!

well i guess it's now time update. i have been gone for the last three weeks so, in that case you can't blame me for not commenting on your blogs or not posting anything of general interest. first of all Vince drove down to PA with us and then stayed at the camp. i was totally amazed at how the boys lived out there for six months to two years. they cut all there firewood by hand with crosscut saws. even the little guys that are nine and ten! it did look like a lot of fun but i can see how it could have been hard to be there for that amount of time. unfortunately i didn't get any pics of camp so you will just have to go see it your self. i don't think that vince would mind a visit. then we went to my grandpa's house in penn valley. we had a relaxing day and two nights there sitting around and reading. on the morning of the day we left jon and i hiked up to a little stream about a mile up the mountain. there we found a spring that was supplying the stream. and let me tell you, the water out of that spring was indeed the best water i'd ever tasted!

here is the spring. you can't see it very well 'cause most of it was up under that moss. but there was a hole about the size of a baseball in the rock and the water was just bubbling right out of the rock. it was so awesome.

here is jonny filling his cup with water close to the spring. the bed of the stream had been muddy all the way up until about fifty feet from the spring. then there were little pebbles and then just sand. the water was so clear!

it was so quite up there other than the noise of the creek. we sat there and watched it for about ten minutes.

here is a pic i really like. you can see here how clear the water is. it is about eight inches deep.

and now, on the road to tennessee. but lets wait a bit and i'll tell you what happens next. we went to nashville for a homeschool conference. jon and i went to a program for young guys called alert cadet. we had a lot of fun and learned to know some new people. i loved it!

here is one team making a human triangle.

and this is a team that our's did a lot with. what they are doing is making a travoy (excuse spelling please) which for all you slightly dim people out there is a triangle made of wood polls. the native americans used to use them to haul supplies across the prairies from one camping spot to another. they would do so by stretching a animal hide across the polls and setting supplies on that. but what we did was have our unit leader stand on the bottom part of the triangle and then the rest of us guys would pull him up the hill and around some obstacles and back down the hill. (oh and for your information my team set a new cadet record by doing it in 37 seconds without wheels. ) other activities were newspaper bridges, fire building, water balloon launching, and "cat and mouse". don't ask me why they called it that.

my my this has gotten to be quite a lengthly post. and i should get off so that i can enjoy the out of doors. so long my peeps!

Hey, I don't have time for a very long one but I have a prayer request for you guys. There's a family up here that has been fostering three children that are ages twelve, fifteen and fifteen. They've been fostering them since they were babies and about two weeks ago the agency took them from school next to illegally. I don't know enough that I should pass a lot more info on as fact. But if you could take some time to pray for this family I'm sure that they would appreciate it! Thanks ~ Andrew
